Where's Michael?

Michael Uhl's Red Blazer Spotted In 8th LD

Move over, Waldo. You're no match for Michael Uhl, candidate for Nassau County Legislature.

Michael, pictured in this post with his wife, Paula, and his now famous red blazer, has been seen going house-to-house in the district, talking with residents, getting feedback, discussing everything from skyrocketing property taxes to organic lawn care.

You might see Michael Uhl in Floral Park in the morning, chatting with homeowners about the LIRR's proposed third rail; in Elmont at Noon, pondering the fate of Belmont Park; or on Dogwood Avenue in Franklin Square in the evening, listening to neighbors vent about a proposed cell phone tower.

Why, Michael Uhl and his red blazer are seemingly everywhere!

Aside from traversing the district on foot, holding stoop-side conversations with homeowners, Michael (and his red blazer) can be seen -- and Michael can be heard -- at the customary array of candidate forums, civic meetings, and street fairs.

Meanwhile, for those who are asking, "Where's Vincent Muscarella?" Don't ask us. We can't find him anywhere. In fact, he's been missing in action for the last 12 years!

Have you spotted Michael Uhl in the 8th LD?

If you have, drop us an e-mail at friendsofmichael@uhlwin.com, and you'll automatically be entered in our contest to Win Uhl's Red Blazer. [Tax, license, and batteries not included.]

Yes, the red blazer is "out there," just as Michael Uhl is out there -- blazing the campaign trail, giving your voice a forum, and your vote on November 6th, the chance to make a difference.
