Bickering At The Budget Hearings

Its Business As Unusual At The Nassau County Legislature

Members of Nassau County Legislature held a public hearing Monday on the proposed $2.5-billion county budget for 2008, and spent the morning session bickering among themselves. More. . .

Here we go again. The finger-ponting. The partisan politics. The charges and counter-charges.

All the while, the important work of the Nassau County Legislature -- including the 2008 Budget -- goes undone.

Haven't we had enough of the bickering, bad-mouthing, and childish game playing?

On Tuesday, November 6th, elect Michael Uhl to the Nassau County Legislature, and tell them to stop the monkey business and get down to the people's business.
